01Who we are

Da Rocha Design is the London design studio of Ramiro da Rocha, based at 2 Anthony Way, Bloqs, London N18 3QT, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].

02What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us, plus the minimum needed to run the website securely:

  • Enquiry form: your name or practice, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in and your message.
  • Email correspondence: anything you send when replying to us, including drawings or photos.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Visitor statistics are aggregated and anonymous — they do not use cookies and do not identify you.

03How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal or quote.
  • To deliver and manage the work you commission from us.
  • To keep business and accounting records we are legally required to hold.

04Lawful basis

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, on performing a contract once you commission us, and on legal obligation for financial records. We never use your details for marketing without your consent, and we never sell them.

05Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf, under contract:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, security and anonymous visitor statistics.
  • Resend — delivers enquiry form messages to our inbox (EU region).
  • Google Workspace — our business email.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

06How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 2 years. Records of commissioned work are kept for 6 years after the project ends, as required for tax and accounting purposes.

07Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising, so no cookie banner is needed. The content editor at /studio, used only by the studio, stores a login session in your browser.

08Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email [email protected] — we will respond within one month.

09Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
